By accessing or using LiveWeather (liveweather.online), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service. We may update these terms at any time; continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Description of Service
LiveWeather provides free weather forecasting, air quality data, and related meteorological information for cities and locations worldwide. Our data is sourced from Open-Meteo and other reputable meteorological services. The service is provided "as is" and is intended for general informational purposes only.
3. Weather Data Accuracy
Weather forecasts are inherently uncertain. While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, LiveWeather makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of weather data. Do not make safety-critical decisions (aviation, maritime navigation, emergency planning) based solely on our forecasts. Always consult official meteorological authorities for safety-related weather decisions.
4. Acceptable Use
You may use LiveWeather for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not: (a) use automated tools to scrape or extract data at scale; (b) redistribute our content without attribution; (c) use the service in any way that violates applicable laws; (d) attempt to disrupt or interfere with the service's infrastructure; or (e) use the service to provide competing commercial weather products without a separate agreement.
5. API and Data Usage
Weather data displayed on LiveWeather is sourced from Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) under a Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 license. If you embed our widget or use our data in your own projects, you must provide attribution to both LiveWeather and Open-Meteo. Commercial API usage requires a separate agreement.
6. Push Notifications
If you subscribe to weather alerts, you consent to receive push notifications from LiveWeather. You can unsubscribe at any time through your browser settings or the notification toggle on any city page. We will only send notifications relevant to weather conditions in your subscribed locations.
7. Intellectual Property
The LiveWeather name, logo, design, and original content are the intellectual property of LiveWeather. Weather data is provided by third-party sources and subject to their respective licenses. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without written permission.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
LIVEWEATHER IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
9. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL LIVEWEATHER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED USD $100.
10. Third-Party Services
LiveWeather uses third-party services including Google AdSense for advertising and Open-Meteo for weather data. These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties. Advertisements displayed by Google AdSense are subject to Google's advertising policies.
11. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of LiveWeather shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts.
